Recycling is good for you!
I am sure there are many houses with some sort of a bag like this!
A bag that is still doing it’s job, but not looking so well anymore.
And yes, do not throw it away – recycle it!
Recycling is good for you and just as good for the planet.
(….And they say we must save this planet, as it is the only one with chocolate!)
That is sure enough a good reason, don’t you think?
Doing something for mother earth makes you feel proud!
It makes you feel happy and alive to be a part of something that has a positive effect on everything around you.
Don’t forget about the good feeling of something accomplished and the feeling of having something new to show off!
The only thing you can’t recycle is wasted time!
I started this project a while ago, and it even went with me overseas and on holidays.
Sitting on airports and train stations, spending lots of time in the aeroplane and on trains, driving in a car or on a bus…………… hours of wasted time that you can never have again.
You might as well fill those empty hours with something to keep you hands busy and work on projects that you never have time for.
With beautiful wool and a crochet needle, you can make pretty flowers and many more things!
It is small to take with and light to carry around. Plastic crochet needles are made for a reason and safe to take on the aeroplane!
You can use any flower pattern and mix and match with different colours of wool.
I glued them onto the bag first to get them in place.
Then I sewed them on by hand.
This bag was really ugly and old – so I made a lining for it as well.
So this was just an idea of what you can do with extra time, old bags and pretty wool.
All of us have left over wool and something old, which can be used to create something while recycling.
In the end, you are good for mother earth, you spent wasted time wisely, and have something new to use.
A 3 in 1 winning situation!
