Recycling turns things into other things – which is like magic
Once you start to recycle with what you have, the more you want to do it.
The satisfaction you get when using something old to make something new, is really like magic.
Taking old clothes apart to make something new or finally using something that have been lying around for years.
You can almost use anything again and again.
I just wish that I had more time to finish the mountain of things I can re-use and recycle.
So here is something I made from old key rings, crochet and beads that have been lying around my house for a very very long time.
Key rings, crochet and beads
These beads are enormous and way to big to wear on its own as a neckless. (when I have them around my neck, it feels like I am in some sort of a prison..)
The key rings are a part of childhood memories and the fabric scraps are from something I made about 19 years ago.
It is scary how old some of the things are in my sewing room and for how long I have been living with it.
Maybe it is not a good thing to tell anyone…..
Simple crochet stitch around the ring.
Fabric scraps for the petals and then joined together.
Any pattern for the crochet flower.
Everything measured and planned.
The strings are made from t-shirt fabric. It makes neat knots to hold everything together.
The end product.
What are you going to recycle?
I think, we as earthlings create too much waste. We have to much and do not appreciate it anymore.
The more we can save and recycle, the better it will be for the earth, for us and everyone around us.
I do hope that you find something to recycle today!
